Random lasing from Dye-Doped Twisted Nematic Liquid Crystal Laser in wedge cell
The mirrorless lasing behavior of dye-doped nematic liquid crystal mixture into perpendicular direction rubbed glass cell is investigated that reveals a linear polarized light which oscillation direction of the electric field is dominated by the alignments of the LCs at the output plate.

Wide-band tunable liquid crystal polymer template photonic bandgap and laser
This study demonstrates a spatially tunable photonic band gap (PBG) device and laser based on a cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) polymer template. The tunable range of the PBG in the device can cover entire visible range. The lasing emissions can be switched between multi-mode and single-mode by temperature.

Enhancing the light outcoupling efficiency of quantum dot light emitting diodes with internal pattern
We propose a periodic SiNx/SiO2 microstructure to effectively extract light from quantum-dot light emitting diodes (QLEDs). The FDTD simulation results show that direct emitting efficiency can be doubled while keeping an indistinguishable color shift. This approach can also be applied to optimize the performances of green and blue QLEDs.

Effect of Deposition Power on the properties of IZO films and it’s applications on Source-Drain Electrodes of a-IGZO TFTs
In this study, devices characteristics of amorphous a-IGZO TFTs by using IZO source-drain (S-D) electrodes with various deposition powers were investigated. First of all, studying the effect of deposition power on the properties of IZO films by using a rf sputter. Subsequently, the channel layers deposited with materials of a-IGZO on silicon wafers, then depositing various powers of IZO S-D materials.

Dominating Factors for Enhanced Light Extraction of OLEDs Using Recessed Structure
Haze of recessed ITO was demonstrated to be the dominating factor leading to enhanced light extraction of organic light-emitting diodes. The haze dramatically increased from 0.5% to 21.4% with ITO recessed, resulting in a light extraction enhancement factor of 2.7, but deteriorated electrical conductivity limited the external efficiency to 16%.
